Beth has ordered a new curriculum and plans to pursue venues to offer the training. Please pray for the training team as they go over the new curriculum and that there would be a desire among organizations for the training.
Pray for details of the organization of the Fort Collins Anti-Sex Trafficking Community Response Team.
Through Beth’s non-profit, A Face To Reframe, she is launching a session with Matthews House focused specifically on youth learning about violence and trafficking to culminate in a mixed media art exhibit. She will speak at the Zonta event in November and the exhibit will be on display. Please pray for Beth as she works with the kids and prepares for this event. Pray that this would be well received and meaningful for the participants.
Continue to pray for the former employees of A Hunt Club. Pray for God’s perfect plans to come to pass in each life and situation.
Sarah’s home needs a full-time teacher. Pray that God would provide the right person to fill this position.
Amy, a house mom, shares that the two girls living at Sarah’s Home have been open to devotionals and prayer, and at times have initiated devotionals themselves and have searched the Bible for specific scriptures referenced in Christian music. Praise God that his word does not return void, but accomplishes his purposes. Pray that the girls would grow in knowledge of God’s truth and that their value is found in Christ alone and that they would learn what healthy relationships look like. Pray for the directors and staff, for patience and peace in the process of healing for the girls.
“Adam” is happy to be back in the boys home. Please continue to pray for his mother “Jay” who has left Delhi and has said she will work in another part of India for the next three years and then plans to leave this work. Pray that she will have courage to leave the life of sex slave, and return to Delhi. Pray that the seeds of truth that have been planted in her spirit will grow and that her story would be one of beautiful transformation.
All of the boys scored very high on their mid-term exams. “Vickey”, the new staff member, is really helping with tutoring and cricket playing.
Continue to pray for both staff members, that they would work together well and be rewarded for their obedience to God’s call through growth and change in the boys.
Please pray for the three full-time staff members at the home. Pray that they would be Godly role models for the girls and that there would not be unhealthy attitudes and behaviors in the home.
Most of the girls scored well on their mid-term exams, but the older girls are struggling in this area. They are looking for tutors to help with homework in the afternoon. Please pray for this need.
Pray for “Tilka” who is the social worker who leads ministry at the Outreach Center. There have been several difficult situations in the Red Light District over the past couple of months that have created difficulty for ministry. Pray for God to intervene in these situations and for many to come to know Him through relationship building at the Outreach Center.
Continue to pray that God would bring the right person for a full-time Director. Give the staff wisdom as they hire this person and pray that other positions would be filled as well.
Pray for American missionaries as they continue to share about their work in New Delhi and raise support over the next couple of months. Pray that God would provide abundantly and that they would see an increase in monthly support. We look forward to hosting the Donaldsons at Timberline Church next month.
All Project Rescue Sites
Continue to pray for qualified staff at all sites and for safety and protection for all who are working against human trafficking.
Thank you for praying about Sarah’s living situation. She has found an apartment that she is very happy with and continues to build relationships with people who are working with trafficked girls in Uganda! God is using her at the center to minister to 4 girls who recently were returned to the area after being trafficked. She plans to return home in Dec. to raise support to return to Uganda. Please pray for funding for her to continue what she feels God has called her to. Continue to pray for her safety.
