14 Jun U COUNT MAY 2016 PRAYER NOTES
Praise and Prayer
…The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
— James 5:16
If we are born again, we are righteous through the work of Jesus on the cross. Because of that, your prayers are POWERFUL and EFFECTIVE! Please pray for the following needs – our global partners are counting on them!
Theme: High Schools in Loveland and Windsor – For key leaders to open doors to provide education among all youth.
Needs From our Partners in Kolkata:
Pray for all our children: In the Life Centre in the red-light area In Home of Hope (HOH) The children of our VU ladies.
Sponsorships for all the children.
That all the girls and boys who gave Board exams will pass successfully & be promoted to next levels.
We will get more committed staff and tutors to teach both English and Bengali Medium.
We just got admitted 6 girls and one lady from the red-light within last 20 days. Pray that they all will adjust, make improvements in their lives and also get school admissions!
This is an extremely important prayer request: In India the rule till now has been if an organisation has had a registration granted by the Ministry of Home Affairs to receive foreign contribution, it was perpetual, & we never had to renew. All that we had to do was to submit yearly financial reports. But according to the new rule we need to renew this every 5 years. It is really serious; if this is not renewed, such organisations cannot receive any foreign funds, which consequently affects all the ministry that has been going on! Till the end of June they will receive the applications. But we have already submitted ours. Please pray that our REGISTRATION according to the FOREIGN CONTRIBUTION REGISTRATION ACT (FCRA) will be renewed without fail, whenever they begin this process. Pray also for the renewal of our Home of Hope license & on time.
Pray that God will provide the rest of the money needed to purchase the property for VU.
Last year, we had 4 ladies from the VU and 3 young ladies from the HOH made decisions for Jesus and took baptism! Pray that many more will make such decision in the days to come.
