Praise and Prayer
The Daughter Project reports that 12 young girls have been freed from a Burmese brothel in Myanmar and two traffickers were arrested. Global Family’s Daughter Project has a team that has been working to create awareness to save their daughters. They were very excited to report the developments there.
God has answered prayers for “K”, missionary to India. His surgery for prostate cancer went very well and the pathology reports came back better than expected! Continue to pray, as recovery from the surgery is taking time.
A director has finally been found for Suraksha in Delhi…praise God!! Please pray as the last details are being worked out over the next month, and pray for Edlin as she takes on this very important work.
Pray for safety and favor for all who are working to bring light into the darkness in the world of sex trafficking. Pray by name for those you know who place themselves at risk in different cultures to bring the love of Jesus to those who so desperately need hope.
Pray for staff member of girls’ home “M” who has fractured her tailbone and then had bad reactions to the pain medication. Pray for healing of the fracture and that she would not be discouraged. Pray also for other staff members, who are working to meet needs.
Pray for “L” as she travels to Delhi to help with training and transition of the new director of Suraksha. Pray for safety in travel and while overseas and for God to bless her time in Delhi.
Pray for Sarah’s Home. They have had 5 girls live there since they opened almost 8 months ago and they expect more in the near future. They have a need for house parents- please pray for the right person/s for this position.
Continue to pray for “K”, who escaped from her pimp in another state a few weeks ago. Pray that she would find healing and continue to seek new life through a relationship with Jesus.
