June Prayer Needs

Pray for the work of the Larimer Early Intervention Team, trying to help high-risk youth exhibiting signs of future commercial sexual exploitation. Pray that the protocols, trainings, and small groups they are implementing are successful in preventing sex trafficking among our youth.

From our partners in New Delhi:

Fifteen days after the exit of our previous doctor, a new one has joined us with much enthusiasm and ideas. We are so grateful!

Request your prayers for the renewing of license for our Children’s Home. Our two years license expires on the 31st of July 2017.

All the 19 kids are on their summer vacation from school and some of them will be going to their villages along with their mothers from 1-20 June. Request your valuable prayers not only for their physical protection but also for their spiritual, psychological and mental wellbeing, especially while they are away.

We have been looking for property for our Children’s home and it’s been too difficult for us to get either a land or a building. Now we have seen a building and request your prayers for God’s direction and His will to be done.

One of our elder girls got an opportunity to share her testimony as to how she was blessed serving as a volunteer and by attending the Teens Camp, in front of the main English church. It was a proud moment for all of us to witness the transition and goodness of God in her life. Thank you God and you, partners for all your support, else it would not have been possible for us to do this all by ourselves.

We value your prayers and want to thank each one of you with a grateful heart. Please continue to pray for this ministry.

From our prayer partner in Uganda:

Please pray for my health, I continue to fight against bilharzia (parasites in my body).  I am constantly exhausted and muscles are so sore, almost like I have arthritis, and so I am on another treatment this week. It makes you very nauseated.  I just pray that as I am doing this for the 3rd time I can finally get it under control. I might never lose it, but need to get it under control as it really affects my daily life.

Pray for my self care, personal healing, and expanded relationships.

Pray over the trauma healing and aftercare service programs I am starting for staff, volunteers, and the ladies we work with.

Pray for provision to go to Nairobi to train in life mapping a component that we would like to add into the year long program once we have all 3 linked together and can then have this as our program with the ladies at our center, the young girls at our home and for the transition center for cross border trafficking survivors.

Pray for protection and the covering of Jesus over our work here.
