04 Dec U COUNT DECEMBER 2013 PRAYER NOTES
Prayer: Local, Project Rescue New Delhi, Project Rescue Kolkata, Uganda
November was a busy month for U COUNT CAMPAIGN:
We are thankful for the opportunities and events at COVA, MOPS, Warehouse Sales and Zonta.
We praise God that Noel is recovering nicely following her surgery and even has been able to shop!
We are so thankful for Lucy and Kevin Donaldson’s visit to Timberline- please pray for their ministry and for provision for their financial needs.
Pray for the next warehouse sale on Dec. 12th.
There is a new girl in the Girls Home. Her name is “Mandy” and she is 5 years old. Mandy was living in the northern state of Punjab. Her mother died this year and her father is in jail for the next 8 years. Mandy was staying with her Grandmother. The area they were living is very near the red light district. Mandy was at very high risk for being trafficked. Now she is safe, but please pray for her as she makes her adjustments living at the Girls Home.
All of the boys and girls are practicing for the big Christmas program on December 7. Please pray that God will anoint their performance and many will come to know Jesus during this Christmas season.
Pray for Indian Nationals to step up to help with the Project Rescue ministry. This is a critical need.
Global Family has been sheltering a 12 year old girl who was trafficked into Delhi and had been beaten and tortured. Praise God for her rescue and that her mother will soon be taking her home.
Deepika organizes an annual Christmas program that is held on the edge of the red light district. Pray for all of the children and adults who are part of the program, and that hearts would be turned to the Savior as they hear The Christmas Story.
Sarah Miles is returning after 6 months in Uganda, where she has been working with girls rescued from trafficking. Pray for her during the time she is back in the states; that she would have clarity from God about future involvement in Uganda and that she would be able to raise funds to return. Pray also for the many girls in Uganda who have been trafficked and are at risk.
